Vasseur Skincare Review

Remember in my skincare routine when I said that I was reviewing another skincare line? Well Vasseur Skincare was the brand I was testing out! I heard about their skincare line through VasseurBeauty’s Youtube channel. She has such beautiful skin and is pretty natural with her skincare, so I really wanted to test out the products that they had.

Starter Kits

First thing that I loved about Vasseur Skincare is that on the front of their homepage you can see they have starter kits that you can buy. When you click on that, it has the option for different starter kits. The starter kit I went with was the Normal to Dry Skin Starter Kit because I have super dry skin.

The Normal to Dry Skin Starter Kit comes with an Olive Oil Cleanser, their Day 25 Cream, and their Supermoist moisturizer. You can also add on, for $5, an eye cream or their Reveal 10 (helps exfoliate the skin). I went with the eye cream because my dark circles are pretty intense.

It didn’t take long for my order to come in the mail. The packaging was cute—it came in a little, blue, see-through bag. Along with that, it had some instructions on how to use the products and information about the company.

The Products

Okay, let’s dig into how the products worked! I have been using coconut oil for the longest time to remove my makeup, but Vasseur Skincare’s Olive Oil Cleanser (2.0 oz) works even better! It doesn’t leave an oily residue, and it takes off all of my makeup! I feel that it takes my eye makeup off pretty well. Sometimes I will do a half pump more and focus that on my eye area, and it gets everything off.

This is probably not good, but I have never been one who puts on sunscreen before applying makeup or gets the moisturizer with SPF already in it. The Day 25 Cream (0.5 oz) is a really nice moisturizer that has sun protection in it, though! I was a little nervous to use it at first because my skin can be a little sensitive to sunscreens, but it works amazingly! The only thing I still am not sure if I love is how strong the scent is. You can get a non-scented one, so the next time I purchase it, I will go for that!

One thing I make sure to put on every night is moisturizer. I literally can’t handle how dry my skin gets without it. I really loved how the Supermoist (0.5 oz) moisturizer smells and the consistency of it. For some reason, my mouth area would get a little dry after using Supermoist, so I would add a little Vitamin E Oil around that area sometimes. That was the only issue I had with it, and I still want to buy it again to see if it was just a transition my skin was going through with the product.

I got the eye cream as a sample, but I will be honest, I haven’t used it a lot because I just forget to use it. It isn’t something I normally do in my routine, so it has been hard for me to remember to include. I want to start using eye cream more to help my dark circles, so I will have to test it more consistently in order to give a better review on it. When I have used it I have liked it, though!

These products are not cheap (I got my starter kit for $65), but you guys, these are amazing products. I seriously saw a significant difference in the way my skin looked!

Would I Purchase these Products Again?

I would definitely purchase these products again! I feel that they are what made the difference in how my skin looks. Before using them, I had some small bumps on my forehead, and after I started using them almost all of those bumps disappeared! I also feel that it helped even out my skin tone, which is another huge perk! They are definitely on the pricey side, but a lot of high-end skincare products are, so we shouldn’t be surprised by the price point of these items since they are, in my opinion, high-end natural skincare products.
