Two years ago, we went to Disney in California with my family during the Christmas season. It was PACKED. We waited in a lot of lines, but we had to find other ways to enjoy our time in the park. During that trip, we discovered our love for their food. On our most recent trip last week, we made sure to save our money for the delicious food they had at the park.
So, amazing blogger me forgot to take pictures of the food I enjoyed because I was too busy eating it. But I can tell you all about these yummy treats. Be sure to try some next time you go to Disneyland/California Adventure!
Literally my favorite treat to get in the park. I love how they are dipped in caramel and then again in chocolate (depending on the one you get). I always get one with sprinkles on it too. My personal favorite is the Minnie Mouse one they have. But since it is currently Pixar Fest, they have a Pixar themed caramel apple that we tried. You can find these in the candy stores in Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney.
We get these every time we go. We get them from the Mint Julep Bar located in New Orleans Square in Disneyland. If you’ve never tried one of these delicacies, you are missing out. It is like a doughnut, but better, covered in powered sugar. They are also shaped like Mickey!
This is a treat I have to get every time I go to Disneyland. I always go to the pretzel stand near Big Thunder Mountain and get my Mickey pretzel there. I don’t know why, but that’s where I always go to get one. I just love soft pretzels; they are my favorite savory treat to get, and I love the salt on it. Just everything about it is delicious. It is a yummy and fun treat to get at the park.
Would it even be a list of great treats to get at Disneyland if Dole Whip wasn’t mentioned? I actually didn’t love Dole Whip at first, but now I can’t get enough of it when we go. The float is my favorite! Be sure to try one of these at the Enchanted Tiki Room in Adventureland. It is literally right there where you walk in.
Chocolate Covered S’mores
New favorite treat! I discovered it just this trip! I got it from the candy store on Main Street, and then again in Downtown Disney. I am a chocolate girl, and this treat gave me life, haha. They take a s’more and dip it in chocolate. The chocolate they use in the s’mores and the marshmallow are so just too good, and the chocolate shell around it all completes the treat.
Red Apple Freeze
If you head over to the Cozy Cone in Cars Land, they have a lot of amazing treats there. My sister’s boyfriend got this one drink and let me try a sip and I fell in love. I had to get one for myself the next night. It is frozen apple juice with a hint of caramel syrup (I think) as well as a marshmallow cream on top. It was literally so, so good—definitely a great drink to enjoy on a hot day in the park.
I know there are so many great things to eat there, and this list barely scratches the surface! Disney treats are so good and I love how they take simple things and make them their own and perfect them. Again, sorry for the lack of pictures, but I promise the food was great, haha. So let me know, what are some of your favorite treats from the Disney Parks? What is number one on your list?
